A Tradition of Fine Woodwork
Promaconte is a family-run joinery studio nestled in the historic heart of Padua, where generations of craftsmen have shaped timber into lasting furniture and architectural elements. Every commission begins with a conversation about how you live and work, ensuring the finished piece serves your home for decades.
We combine time-honoured hand techniques with modern precision machinery, achieving joints that are both structurally sound and visually refined. Our workshop handles projects from single bespoke cabinets to complete interior fitouts across Veneto and beyond.
What We Create
Our portfolio spans fitted wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry, staircase balustrades, library shelving, and commercial millwork for offices and retail spaces. Each piece is designed in collaboration with you, drawn to scale, and built from carefully selected hardwoods and veneers.
We do not mass-produce. A typical kitchen commission takes eight to twelve weeks from final design approval, while smaller pieces may be completed within four weeks. All prices are quoted in EUR and include VAT at the prevailing Italian rate.
Materials and Sustainability
We source oak, walnut, cherry, and ash from certified European suppliers, favouring timber with documented provenance and responsible harvesting practices. Reclaimed wood from Venetian palazzi and rural barns is available for clients seeking character and historical resonance.
Low-VOC finishes, water-based lacquers, and natural oil treatments protect your furniture while minimising environmental impact. We provide material samples at consultation so you can assess grain, colour, and texture before committing.
Visit Our Workshop
Our studio at 22 Via dei Fabbri welcomes private appointments Tuesday through Saturday. Seeing timber being shaped on the bench and discussing joinery details in person helps clients make confident decisions about their project.
